October • Breast Cancer Awareness Month
No one should face life’s battles hungry.
Together, we can help carry the load.
This October, we honor those affected by breast cancer
and stand beside neighbors facing illness, uncertainty
and difficult days.
A box of food. A caring volunteer. A community willing
to show up. Your support can help make one part of
a family’s day a little easier.
Neighbors helping neighbors through The Children’s Table.
A box of food. One less worry.
Compassion belongs at every table.
A cancer diagnosis can change work schedules, household
finances and the everyday routines a family depends on.
For loved ones and caregivers, keeping food on the table
can become one more worry during an already difficult time.
The Children’s Table helps rural families have food on
their tables—and reminds our neighbors that they have
a community that cares. Food assistance can ease pressure
on a stretched budget and help a caregiver keep
the household fed.
This month, we honor those living with breast cancer,
recognize survivors and caregivers, and remember those
we have lost. Our welcome extends to families facing
every kind of illness and hardship.
You are welcome here.
We welcome anyone who needs food, from anywhere.
We do not require identification or proof of income.
You do not need to share a diagnosis or explain
your hardship to ask for help.
Turn compassion into action
We need our community to keep showing up.
Every distribution takes people, food, transportation
and care. There is a place for you in this work.
GIVE YOUR TIME
Volunteer with us.
Help pack food, prepare for distribution or serve
families alongside our crew. Bring a friend, a church
group or coworkers. Your hands and your kindness
make a difference.
GIVE WHAT YOU CAN
Help keep food moving.
A one-time gift helps provide food, fuel and the
resources needed to serve our neighbors. Monthly
giving provides steady support throughout the year.
BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER
Rally your community.
Organize a food drive through your school, church,
workplace or neighborhood. Invite someone to volunteer.
Share our schedule with a family who could use
a helping hand.
Small acts of kindness matter.
Check on a neighbor. Offer encouragement.
Help someone find food assistance and remind
them they are welcome.

Caring is our Legacy.
Help keep food on a neighbor’s table.
We cannot take away every hardship a family faces.
Together, we can help make sure hunger does not
add to the burden.
Give your time. Give what you can.
Help one another through life’s difficult chapters.
Donations to The Children’s Table support our food
assistance mission for families facing many kinds
of hardship.
