Responsible Stewardship

How Donations Support Our Mission

The food distributed by The Children’s Table is provided to help feed our neighbors—it is not purchased for resale. Financial donations make the collection, safe storage, transportation, and distribution of that food possible.

Donations help cover essential operating expenses such as fuel, refrigerated trucks, qualified professional drivers with commercial driver’s licenses, vehicle maintenance, utilities, refrigeration and freezer equipment, food storage, insurance, building maintenance, packaging supplies, and the transportation required to collect and deliver food throughout rural North Central Florida.

These essential costs allow donated and rescued food to reach the children, families, Veterans, seniors, and other neighbors who need it.
